Little Ballet Shoes

My little cousin was turning 11 this weekend so I made her a small birthday cake.

She's taking dance classes to I wanted to do something really girly.

I used the Cricut to cut out the ballet shoes, I love the way it came out.

It was chocolate cake, filled with strawberry swiss meringue buttercream, fresh strawberries and chocolate ganache. Soo Yummy!

She loved the cake so much she refused to let anyone cut it :)

Here's the cake

Since I've started useing the Cricut for cakes, I'm surprised at how fast and easy it is. I love my Cricut!

  3. Can anyone using the cricut E for cakes please help and let me know if I simply need to use a deep blade and what size and pressure I should use. Really would appreciate it as I am getting impatient waiting for the cakes one.
